A Very Important Announcement

I’ve got a really special announcement to share with you.  I’ll tell you the same way that I told Dad.  Here you go:

This is a picture of me at our front door, waiting for Dad to come home from work.  The T-Shirt was made by Mom and the message says it all. 

That’s right, I’m going to be a big brother!  The only downside is that I have to wait until August.  Geez, what’s the hold up?  I’m ready to be a big brother now.  I’ve got so much to share. 

BTW – I’m not the only one who got a nice new T-Shirt.  Check out my buddy D, over at the Rockpile Rant.  He got a pretty snazzy new shirt too.

    Congrats! You will LOVE being a big brother! I am a big sister and while it can be tough to share at times, it is a lot of fun! It might seem like a long time – but it will go by fast! Keep us all posted. Tell your mom & dad I said congratulations!

    That’s fantastic!! Rockies fans don’t convert, they’re made. Looks like your season tickets are going up another 25% with the new addition..I’m really happy for all three of you. Mark, I still have an opening on MBU? I know it would be tough to swing, but you know your welcome to it…Are you going to be at opening weekend in April?     You will now have someone to teach how to throw and maybe even have another guy who you can turn into a baseball fan like you……it seems to run in the family.

    Congratulations, Baby Paul! You’ll love being a big brother. I love being a big sister, even after almost 21 years. I wouldn’t trade my little brother for the world! I look forward to the pictures I’m sure you’ll be posting when your little brother or little sister arrives!

    Thanks for all the nice comments. Mom and Dad are taking me to the Dr.’s office on Monday so I can hear the little baby’s heartbeat. I’m looking forward to that.
    D – I know Dad would love to come with you to Spring Training, but he’s got to save his vacation days. He’s going to need it to help Mom after my little brother or sister arrives. Have fun and hopefully we’ll see you down there for a game or two.
